I live in a country town in a beautiful volcanic caldera, surrounded by sugar cane fields, national parks and rivers and within a stones throw of the ocean. We, fiance husband, boy and I, are lucky enough to have a rambling old house which needs lots of attention, with our two cats -Fat Guts (aka Kamikaze cat) and Skinny cat, and Dusty the dog. Dusty who I found outside my apartment in Al Ain in the UAE when I lived there many years ago.
Once upon a time I was a Landscape Architect, however I have been working as a project manager so long, I started to feel like I had nearly forgotten how to be creative. Creativity was no longer part of my every day, and for a while there I thought I had lost it....my creativity.
I once had dreams about a life's work. Now I start to wonder what that even means.
This blog is part of my own 'project' to rediscover my creativity. To find and develop my creative side again, to follow my mind and my curiosity and to get to the point where I am producing something - blog, art, design, quilts, toys - that I am proud of and investing my energy in. The blog will have bits and pieces of what I find, what I think about, what happens to me, where life is at, what interests me, and what I create....and what I am passionate about. For now...a handme down blogger template will do!
p.s It's not all art and craft here, in fact it is rarely just that, it is often opinionated bullshit, pinterest finds, and not to forget a good chair for monday!

P.s I am now on maternity leave for the next 9 months so we shall see what that brings!
